As Told By Ginger Mulled Cider Recipe

Picture this, it's Christmas Day, the snow is lightly falling outside of your window as you cuddle up in a rustic, old cabin tucked in the Colorado mountains. Or maybe on the couch at your grandmother's home. The weather is sunny but crisp, you can see your breath as you walk outside. Out of the blue, the smell of maple, cinnamon and apples fill the air and your soul so sweetly, as a holiday, mulled cider tea is being prepared in the kitchen. 


The holiday cider recipe is simple, combining fruits and spices with our already prepared herbal tea. As Told By Ginger hemp tea has the relaxing components of chamomile allowing the body to settle into sweetness. Combined with the spices of cardamom, ginger and cinnamon this favorite holiday tea helps with bloating, nervousness and other stomach centered issues. It’s the perfect cbd tea for a day where your cup is full and you are in need of a little R & R.


Below is the recipe.

As Told By Ginger Mulled Cider 


Ingredients: 

This makes approximately 1/2 gallon - 10 servings

Two Apples 

One Orange

2-4 Cinnamon Sticks 

2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar 

7-9 Bags of As Told By Ginger tea

6 cups of water 

¼ gallon of Apple Cider of Choice

Directions:


  1. Chop Fruit in large pieces and Bring Water to Boil

  2. Add Fruit, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon sticks to boiling water. Boil for 5-10 minutes

  3. Add the cbd tea bags to boiling water, Simmer on low for 25 minutes.

  4. Add Apple Cider and Simmer for 10 more minutes


** Add Shot of Whiskey or choice of liquor for a “spiked” Mulled Cider
